About Hugo
Hi, I'm Hugo! I'm a professional singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney, Australia.
Over the past several years I've built a career writing, producing and performing original music, with millions of streams across my catalog. I've previously been signed to Sony Music Australia, am currently a signed songwriter and artist with BMG, and have worked with artists both in Australia and internationally.
My work has been featured in *Scream VI*, and I wrote "Lighthouse" for Ethan Beckton, who performed it as a finalist on *The Voice Australia*. These experiences have given me valuable insight into the songwriting, production and recording process at a professional level.
I teach music production, songwriting and artist development using a practical, hands-on approach. Whether you're just opening Logic Pro for the first time, writing your first song or preparing music for release, lessons are tailored to your goals and focused on helping you create music that sounds authentic to you.
My aim is to make every lesson inspiring, relaxed and genuinely useful. Rather than teaching rigid formulas, I help you understand the creative decisions behind great records so you can develop your own sound and confidence as an artist.

My lessons are completely tailored to your goals as an artist, producer or songwriter. Whether you're opening Logic Pro for the first time, trying to finish a song that's been sitting on your hard drive for months, or wanting to take your productions to a professional level, we'll focus on what will move you forward the fastest.
Sessions can cover every stage of the creative process, including music production, songwriting, arranging, recording, vocal production, editing, mixing, demo creation and developing your own artistic identity. We'll work on your own songs wherever possible, so you'll leave each lesson with tangible progress rather than just theory.
I specialize in modern pop, indie and R&B production, drawing inspiration from artists such as Justin Bieber, Dominic Fike, Dijon, Mk.gee, Daniel Caesar and Frank Ocean. You'll learn not only how to use Logic Pro effectively, but also why professional records sound the way they do and how to make creative decisions with confidence.
Whether your goal is to release your first single, become a better producer, write stronger songs or finally finish the music you've started, every lesson is practical, personalized and focused on creating music you're genuinely proud of.

Details
Lessons are available online or in person (depending on location) and are fully personalized to your goals. There's no need to rent a studio or purchase additional software before starting, we can work with whatever setup you currently have and build from there.
If you're using Logic Pro, we'll work directly within your own projects. If you're just getting started, I'll guide you through choosing the right equipment and software without unnecessary expense.
You'll also receive notes, feedback and practical exercises after each session so you can continue making progress between lessons. My goal is for every lesson to leave you with real improvements to your music, whether that's a finished section of a song, a stronger mix or new production techniques you can apply immediately.
