About Shilpa
I am an experienced Maths educator with 10+ years of teaching experience, helping students across US, UK, Australian, and New Zealand curricula. With an academic background in Electronics and Communication Engineering and ongoing PhD research in VLSI, I bring analytical thinking and problem-solving into every lesson. I specialize in building concepts, improving speed and accuracy, and teaching smart exam strategies rather than rote formulas. I prepare students for SAT, AP, IB, UCAT, MCAT, PCAT, and DCAT while addressing challenges like exam anxiety, time pressure, confusing concepts, and careless mistakes. A classroom is a complex social environment and students must be treated as complex and intelligent individuals. I think that the purpose of teaching is to provide students with a framework with which they can test the limits of their intellectual prowess. I will include methods like debating, activity-based projects, problem-solving games, etc in the curriculum through which students can explore their intellect.
