About Leah

Hello! My name is Leah Montesa, and I’m a dedicated tutor passionate about helping learners reach their full potential. With a strong foundation in personalized instruction and a supportive teaching style, I create lessons that are engaging, effective, and tailored to your unique needs. I specialize in helping students build confidence in English, communication, and academic skills through structured, interactive lessons. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving your writing, or learning English as a second language, I’ll guide you step-by-step with patience and encouragement. What sets me apart is my ability to connect with students, understand their goals, and adapt my teaching to suit their pace and learning style. I believe that every student can succeed with the right guidance—and I’m here to provide just that.

About the lesson

Teaching Methodology and Techniques
I use a student-centered approach that blends interactive learning, real-world application, and positive reinforcement. My methodology includes:

Diagnostic assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Active learning techniques such as role-playing, problem-solving, and collaborative tasks.

Multimodal resources (visuals, audio, games, and digital tools) to cater to different learning styles.

Regular feedback and reflection to help students track their progress and stay motivated.

Typical Lesson Plan
Each lesson is structured to maximize engagement and retention:

Warm-up activity (5–10 mins): Review previous content or introduce the day’s theme.

Core instruction (20–30 mins): Teach new concepts using examples, demonstrations, and guided practice.

Interactive practice (15–20 mins): Students apply what they’ve learned through exercises, discussions, or mini-projects.

Wrap-up and feedback (5–10 mins): Recap key points, answer questions, and assign optional follow-up tasks.
