About HEMA
11+ can be fun for your child!
My interest in teaching first started when I got involved in training my own children for grammar schools and this led to friends and family enquiring about my teaching their children professionally hence the start of my teaching career! The challenge of exploring the potential of each child and stretching their abilities to the maximum is very rewarding for me especially when the children get excited about learning new things and that it's not all that dreary.
I'm also a qualified accountant (Certified Public Accountant) with over 25 years of experience in the field. I promote mindfulness in my tutoring and this brings focus and it is a calming practice.
I believe my experience and approach to teaching in the most interesting and practical manner helps the learner to find it easy to understand and approach the exams with ease and confidence. There are suggested books and papers which I would ask the parent to purchase alongside my own set coursework tailored per requirements of each child.
