About Alex
I'm Alex. I'm 18 with a genuine interest in psychology and how people think and behave, along with a real enthusiasm for teaching it. I recently achieved a B in AQA A-level Psychology, so I've been through the exact exam my students are working toward and know where it's easy to lose marks. I got into tutoring because I enjoy explaining things clearly and want to help students feel more confident going into their exams, whether that's building understanding from scratch or fine-tuning revision technique closer to exam time.

I focus on building real understanding of psychological theories and studies rather than just memorising names and dates, breaking each approach down into clear examples and checking you can apply them to exam questions, not just recall them. Sessions typically run for one hour, with time built in for questions and past paper practice where useful. I recently achieved a B in AQA A-level Psychology, so I know exactly where marks are commonly lost, particularly around evaluation and research methods, and what examiners are actually looking for. Lessons suit A-level Psychology students at any ability level, whether you're building understanding from scratch or fine-tuning revision closer to exams.
