About Edward
I am an Upper 6th-form Mathematics student at Oundle School, with an A* prediction and a Grade 9 at iGCSE. I have won both intra-school recognition and gold-level extra-curricular Maths awards, and have been informally tutoring Maths to friends and family since year 11.

I believe that to achieve high grades in Mathematics, it is crucial to be able to work logically, and with both confidence and precision. This can only come from practice, and therefore my teaching methodology would involve getting a basic understanding of the theory, and then working through practice questions/past papers to develop the confidence and iron out any misunderstandings within any given topic.

From personal experience, Ed is very knowledgeable and also a very patient tutor. Recently, he helped me prepare for questions on the Spanish Civil war, which at the time I wasn't so confident about. However, after going through the problems I had with it with Ed, he really helped me understand the topic better, highlighting to me the key aspects of the Civil War. He's very friendly and polite. I know Ed as we are in the same boarding house.
