I am an undergraduate liberal arts student at a school focusing primarily on history, philosophy, and literature. For the past five years, I have been an editor for various newspapers. I have taught in a variety of subjects such as history of math and science, classical literature, and art history.

I would rather guide through the material than lecture a student. I will ask questions and push my students into considering all aspects of material to create a personal connection to the text. Engagement with the material is key to this method of instruction. If both the student and teacher are not willing to ask important questions of the text, there will be little learned from it.

Details
The Client/Student may cancel tuition/lessons by giving at least 4 hours prior notice to the Tutor in which case no tuition fees will be incurred. Lessons not attended by the student without giving 4 hours prior notice to the Tutor shall be charged at the full rate.
The Tutor may cancel lessons by giving at least 4 hours prior notice to the Client/Student in which case no fees shall be incurred. Where a lesson was pre-paid, the Tutor shall reschedule the appointment at a time agreeable to both parties, failing which the Client/Student shall be refunded with such a missed lesson fee.
