About WANPENG
I'm a US-licensed Landscape Architect, LEED-accredited professional, and Landscape Design Director with over 10 years of international experience in landscape architecture, urban design, and master planning across the United States and Asia.
I hold a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University (GSAPP) and have developed my career through international design practices, working on projects ranging from corporate headquarters and innovation campuses to public parks, waterfront landscapes, and urban regeneration.
Throughout my career, I've collaborated with leading international architecture firms, multidisciplinary teams, and developers, bringing together creative vision, environmental responsibility, and practical implementation.
Beyond professional practice, I've been involved in academic workshops, design reviews, and mentorship, including graduate-level workshops at the University of Hong Kong and participation as a guest critic and alumni mentor at Columbia University GSAPP.
I'm passionate about sharing both the creative and practical sides of design. Whether you're developing a portfolio, exploring a career in landscape architecture, or seeking professional guidance on a design project, I aim to provide thoughtful, constructive, and actionable advice tailored to your goals.
My philosophy is simple: great design begins with curiosity, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of people and place.
