About Tony
My teaching focuses on the music and student's personal internalization. Students are trained to be self-aware and self-critical. Practice is not a mechanical but a personal and mental exercise. You need to feel relaxed, comfortable and willing to benefit from playing and practicing the piano.

Music is a language.
Your goal is to express yourself in that language via the piano.
You learn to
* master clean and musical tone (piano touch);
* understand musical structures (musical forms);
* interpret the message in a composition (musical theme) and
* share your insight of the musical message. (interpretation).
That is the way to musical and fine piano playing for all ages.
