About Dorcas
I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Computer Science, and I’ve spent the last several years working in tech and STEM. I’ve worked as an AI product manager, built software and technical systems, and started businesses of my own. I like helping people understand things that feel confusing at first, especially in coding, math, statistics, and other STEM subjects. I’m patient, easy to work with, and I’ll always meet you where you are instead of making you feel behind.

I know how frustrating STEM classes feel when a concept refuses to click. Sometimes you need someone to explain the same idea in a different way.
I’m a Penn State Computer Science graduate, and I tutor students in computer science, statistics, math, STEM subjects, information science, coding, and general academic support. I break difficult topics into simple steps, work through problems with you, and adjust each lesson to how you learn best.
Whether you’re struggling with statistics, preparing for an exam, learning programming, working through a STEM assignment, or trying to improve your grade, we’ll focus on the exact areas giving you trouble.
My goal is for you to leave each session understanding the material well enough to solve problems independently.
