My approach to tutoring is built on a simple philosophy: making complex topics accessible and engaging. I believe that a strong understanding of fundamental principles is key to mastering both mathematics and food science.
My teaching methodology is centered on interactive, student-led sessions. I don't just lecture; I guide you through problems and concepts, encouraging you to think critically and ask questions. For math, I use real-world examples and hands-on problem-solving to make abstract concepts concrete. For food science, we can explore everything from the chemistry of baking to the biology of fermentation, often with practical, kitchen-based examples to illustrate the theory. My goal is to empower you to not only solve a problem but also understand the "why" behind the solution.
Lessons are typically 60-90 minutes long, which I find is the ideal amount of time to dive deep into a topic without causing fatigue. However, I am flexible and can adjust lesson length to suit your individual needs.
