About Lydia
I am a Master of Architecture student currently studying at RMIT University in Melbourne. Originally from New Zealand, I moved to Melbourne to pursue my master’s degree after completing a Bachelor of Architectural Studies. I have a strong passion for teaching and enjoy helping students build confidence by breaking down complex design, graphics, and architectural concepts into clear, understandable steps. Alongside my studies, I have always loved rowing and fitness, which have shaped my discipline and work ethic, and I enjoy visiting family and friends whenever possible. My background includes university-level tutoring and professional architectural drafting experience, allowing me to support both high school Graphics and DVC students as well as university architecture students.

I am a Master of Architecture university student who enjoys teaching and explaining design concepts in a clear, approachable way that helps students truly understand visual communication and design thinking. I focus on breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps, using visual examples and structured feedback to build confidence. I am flexible with lesson lengths, offering sessions from 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depending on what best supports learning. I have tutoring experience at university level, having taught Environmental Science during my Bachelor of Architecture, and I support high school students studying Graphics and DVC, as well as university architecture students seeking help with studio work and design fundamentals.
