About Phyllis
Teaching organic chemistry requires a clear and logical mind. I focus on breaking down complex concepts for college chemistry majors and biochemistry students. My work relies on 3 years of experience as an MCAT tutor. Harvard Medical School provided the foundation for my expertise in isomerism and mechanism drawing.
I help exam candidates master curved-arrow notation and alcohols and ethers. Dealing with aromatic chemistry and elimination reactions is easier with my guidance. My students consistently see 8 point score improvements in 3 months. I enjoy helping people conquer functional groups and retrosynthesis during our sessions.
