About Sharan
I am a Master of Computer Science student at the University of Sydney. I was born in Bangalore, India and grew up in Saudi Arabia. I love to swim, bake, read and go out to the beach. I majored in finance and computer science in college and worked with Deloitte as an EFA analyst.
I have a strong background in project management, mathematics, Python, statistics, and analytics. I was very involved in research in college and presented research papers at national conferences. I believe in hard work and testimony to that is me being here today to study what I love at the country's best university. My experience in research and tutoring has taught me how important practicing concepts is.
Making mistakes teaches us to learn effectively, only practice and asking questions helps you understand better.
Simply memorizing seldom works.
A structured approach with a fixed timetable and regular practice (especially math) is going to do wonders compared to procrastinating and doing it all at the last minute.
Which is why I only keep each lesson not more than 90 minutes. Frequency is more important than the size of the lesson when it comes to practical subjects.
I work with students from any grade between 1 and 10. I specialize in subjects like Math, statistics, English, social sciences, literature, coding, and accounting.
