About Fiona
With 4 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping school and college students master French in a way that is engaging, practical, and tailored to their unique learning styles. My teaching approach combines traditional methods with innovative techniques to ensure my students not only understand the language but also gain the confidence to use it fluently in real-life situations.
I use interactive learning tools such as multimedia resources, role-playing, and conversational practice to make French more accessible and enjoyable. By focusing on all key areas—speaking, writing, vocabulary, reading, and listening—I provide a holistic approach to language learning. I also emphasize the cultural aspects of the language, helping students appreciate the nuances and deepen their understanding.
I believe that learning a language is most effective when students are actively involved. Through empathy and personalized attention, I work with each student to address their specific needs, whether it’s preparing for exams, improving pronunciation, or boosting writing skills. My ultimate goal is to make learning French a rewarding experience that opens doors to new opportunities and cultural exploration.

My teaching approach is centered around Communication, Empathy, Collaboration, and Integrity, ensuring a personalized and effective learning experience for every student. I believe that mastering French is not just about memorizing vocabulary or grammar rules, but about developing the ability to communicate confidently and authentically.
I emphasize interactive communication to help students become comfortable with speaking and listening from the very start. Through empathetic listening and understanding, I tailor lessons to each student's individual needs and learning pace. We work together to set realistic goals and create an engaging, collaborative environment where learning becomes enjoyable and rewarding.
With 4+ years of experience, I also offer support in relevant subjects like writing, reading, and vocabulary, ensuring that students not only learn French but develop skills that are directly applicable to job opportunities and daily conversations. Integrity is at the core of my teaching, ensuring honesty, trust, and mutual respect throughout the learning journey.
