About Zawad
I'm an incoming Computer Science student at the University of Toronto. I just finished my Cambridge A-Levels, scoring an A* in Math, A* in Further Math, A* in Chemistry, and an A in Physics. Alongside my A-Levels, I scored a 1550 on the SAT (800 Math), and won the Cambridge "Top in the World" award for getting a perfect 100/100 in O-Level Math.
Because I literally just took these exams, I know exactly how the grading rubrics work and where the trick questions are. I enjoy teaching and recently worked with a 7th-grade student, helping him pull his test scores up to an A*.
I also used to run a YouTube channel. Editing and producing content taught me how to explain things visually, which is exactly how I tutor. I use a digital whiteboard to break down math problems step-by-step so they actually make sense, rather than just having you memorize a formula.

How the lessons work:
All lessons are done online using a digital whiteboard. When you get stuck on a problem, we trace your steps backward to find exactly where the math went wrong, and we fix it there.
A normal 60-minute session looks like this:
• We review your homework and fix any mistakes.
• I explain the new topic on the whiteboard.
• We pull up official past-paper questions or example questions or SAT practice tests and solve them together.
• I give you a hard question to solve completely on your own to prove you've got it.
