3D printing is a hobby open to everyone with the time and energy. Craft anything! Design, prototype, manufacture... do it all!
I can help you debug your printer if you are having trouble getting it to work and I can talk to you about design software and slicer settings for getting your workflow just right!
I have been using 3D printers for over 5 years and in that time made every mistake imaginable so that you don't have to! I have experience with FDM and SLA printing.
