About Vania

Hi there! As a native Spanish speaker and a qualified psychologist, I bring a truly unique and effective approach to language education. I'm genuinely passionate about helping you discover the beauty and utility of the Spanish language. My professional background gives me a deep understanding of how people learn, process information, and build confidence – principles I apply directly to our Spanish lessons. My goal is to create a supportive and engaging online environment where you feel comfortable practising and growing your skills. Beyond tutoring, I'm genuinely fascinated by human behaviour and love exploring new hobbies or getting lost in a good book. This broad perspective helps me tailor lessons that are not only effective but also relatable and enjoyable.

About the lesson

My Spanish classes are entirely tailored to your individual needs and learning style. Whether you're aiming for conversational fluency, perfecting your pronunciation, mastering grammar, or simply learning for personal enrichment, we'll set clear, achievable goals together. You can expect interactive online sessions that cover all essential skills: speaking, listening comprehension, reading, and practical application in real-life scenarios. I break down complex topics into understandable steps, providing clear explanations and constructive feedback to support your progress. We'll use engaging materials and exercises to reinforce what you learn, ensuring you build confidence and truly enjoy your learning journey. First Session Our first meeting is a free 30 minute introductory chat. This is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss your current Spanish level, your specific learning goals, and how you prefer to learn. This helps me design a personalised lesson plan that best suits your needs. We'll also confirm availability and address any questions you may have, ensuring we set clear expectations for your Spanish learning journey together.

Want to actually speak Spanish? Vania's amazing. I met her at QMUL during our MSc, and I was so ready to move past Duolingo and just talk. Our conversations were super dynamic, talking about real stuff, and we even nailed my pronunciation. It felt like genuine chats, not just practice. Highly recommend!

Vania is an amazing Spanish tutor! She really clicked with my learning speed, making everything easy. Plus, with a native speaker like her, you get all the cultural scoop, even how different places say stuff – that's for later on, but it's a huge plus.

I totally recommend Vania if you're looking for a Spanish tutor! I took online lessons with her to get ready for a trip to South America, focusing on speaking basics and pronunciation.

Vania is super patient and great at adapting. Our sessions seriously boosted my confidence to actually talk in Spanish.

Totalmente recomendada!
