About Jackson
I have been employed as a teachers assistant at an R1 university, tasked with instructing undergraduates for multiple years, and know what it takes to make a successful student, both from the instructional team's side and the student's side. I am someone who does not settle for simply reciting a lesson to a student and expecting full understanding. Everyone understands concepts in different ways, which requires different teaching strategies. In many ways, demonstration of solving a problem first followed by a walkthrough with the student can suffice for help, but I believe that every student needs some personalization to their lesson plan to fit their needs.
I teach high school and undergraduate level chemistry, including but not limited to: General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Thermodynamics, Quantum Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Spectroscopy and Instrumental Analysis, and Polymer Chemistry
With direct experience in mentorship at the high school and college level, I have taught over 100 students and received exceptional marks from both my students and my superiors for my ability to convey material in a digestible and engaging fashion.
