About Sumayyah
My name is Sumayyah, I am currently working within the NHS and have taken up tutoring and teaching roles in recent years as I feel quality education should be accessible to everyone. I have completed many years of education including an undergraduate honours and two Masters degree qualifications. My journey to achieving my goals would not have been possible without the incredible teachers I had along the way. I have utilised every learning tool in order to educate myself and others which is why I am able to tailor my teaching sessions and guarantee exam success.

I run my sessions in 1 or 2 hour blocks on weekends and evenings dependant upon the clients needs. This also involves knowing whether or not the student requires face to face or remote teaching in order to create a supportive learning environment that motivates my students to engage well and improve their academic abilities.
Initially I get an understanding of whether the student requires help with specific topics or general support with their academic progression. I will then make a structured timetable for each session and use learning tools such as exam board approved text books, online educational resources and education tools that I own.
I am also able to accommodate for all modes of learning whether it be face to face or remote teaching.
I have an extensive background in science and maths however I am also well versed in other aspects of learning due to having taught pupils from the ages of 3-16 years old at many schools. I am also available to tutor A level students who require support in Mathematics with Statistics, Chemistry and Biology.
