About Curtis
I'm currently a materials scientist at a globally renowned pharmaceutical company. I went through the process of GCSEs, A levels and university to land myself a fascinating job in science that rewards me every day with new opportunities to further my understanding of different phenomena. I've dabbled in teaching maths and science in the past and thoroughly enjoyed it, now wanting to take it a step further by tutoring students online or in person in the East Kent area.

I believe in teaching by helping students to understand the why. It can be very easy, especially for teachers managing a large class, to tick the boxes the curriculum stipulates. By not only teaching you the what, but the why as well, you'll be left with a better understanding of maths and science which you can carry through your academic career.

Perfect! I'm thrilled and grateful for the lesson Curtis gave me. He was patient and used a perfect methodology, breaking down the material to my level of understanding so I could grasp the calculations. Even though drug calculation wasn't his area of expertise, he made sure to teach me the right way. Thanks to his confident knowledge and technology-based teaching, I was able to pass my exam with flying colours. I dreaded the exam, but with Curtis's help, I made it through.
