About Sarah
I am Sarah, a materials engineering student at McMaster. I have been tutoring students for more than 4 years in a variety of subjects, including math, French, physics, and chemistry. I have experience with grades 4 through 12 and can tutor first-year engineers.

I first start by asking the student what they have trouble with and I focus on explaining major concepts in different ways until they fully understand what they need to do. I tell students what their strengths and weaknesses are and then I focus on their weaknesses to improve their skills. I teach them how to work better and spot where their own mistakes are without the help of another person. I have prior tutoring experience and I adapt to each student. My tutoring sessions are for anyone from grade 1 to grade 12, whether they have a lot to learn or just need to bring their average up a little more.

Perfect! Sarah was a really good tutor for our daughter. She loves teaching and had a true passion for the topics that she worked on. We were really happy with Sarah, but wished that she lived closer for in-person sessions :)
