About Naiya
I’m an engineering student with 2 years of experience studying higher-level mathematics, and I’ve learned that math doesn’t have to be difficult or intimidating. With the right explanation and approach, anyone can understand it.
As a tutor, I focus on building strong fundamentals, explaining concepts clearly, and creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions. I’m patient, encouraging, and adapt my teaching style to each student’s pace and learning needs.
My goal is not just to help students get the right answer, but to help them understand *why* the answer is right and develop confidence in their own abilities.
I mainly work with students up to age 14 and would love to help make math a subject they feel confident about!

My approach as a tutor:
I believe math can be fun and easy when it’s explained the right way! I break difficult topics into simple steps and use examples that kids can easily relate to.
Teaching method:
I first understand what the student knows and where they’re struggling. Then, I explain the concept step-by-step, solve examples together, and let them try problems on their own while guiding them when needed.
Typical lesson:
We start with a quick review, learn a new concept, practice it together, and finish with a few questions to make sure the student understands it confidently.
What sets me apart:
I focus on understanding rather than memorizing. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and, most importantly, to stop thinking of math as something scary or difficult.
Who my lessons are for:
I’m best suited for children up to age 14, including elementary and middle school students who need help with math, want to strengthen their basics, or simply want to become more confident in the subject.
