About Jamie
I am first and foremost a people person! Empathy, communication and humor are the cornerstones of my teaching approach. I understand how frustrating and demoralizing the struggle with math can be, as I've been there before as well. I strive to ensure that my students leave each lesson feeling more confident in their math skills and reassured that math can be fun and easy for everyone!

I take a friendly and dedicated approach to teaching. I prioritize ensuring all my students have a firm grasp on the building blocks before moving on to more advanced topics. My work as center director at a math tutoring center has given me a keen insight into diagnosing gaps in mathematical knowledge and I can help close them! Most students I've worked with have missed something from a previous class that makes their current class more difficult. Whether it's core concepts like multiplication and division fluency, or high-level lessons like systems of differential equations, we can work together to build a firm foundation that will make math a breeze!
