About Nora
About me! I am a college student at Washington University in St. Louis planning to major in computer science or math. I studied math at an accelerated level in high school, finishing with calculus 3 and differential equations, and am continuing my math education journey.
I have always loved math, but I especially love figuring out how to synthesize mathematic learning into approachable lessons and concepts for those who may or may not love it as much as I do (which is completely understandable :) ).
I have a lot of experience working with kids and teenagers of all ages, and know I can be the tutor for you!

My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding of math in order to improve the students future math-problem solving abilities! A typical lesson will include:
- a base-level explanation (with appropriate figures or diagrams) of the subject
- 1-2 walkthroughs of common problems related to the subject, explained in reference to the fundamental concepts taught beforehand
- plentiful practice problems for the student to begin themselves, with reminders/walkthroughs at their side at all times for clarity/additional instruction
- additional explanations of the applications of these concepts into further learning material and the real world!
