About Ronan
Hi I'm Ronan, I am entering my final year of mathematical sciences in UCC. I received 613 points in the leaving cert and have received a first class honours in every set of university exams. In the 23/24 academic year I taught 2 students one to one, 1 in maths and 1 in physics, while also teaching 3 group sessions with Breakthrough Maths. I found that the two students I taught individually improved at a much faster rate than those in the group sessions, and so last year I decided to do only individual lessons. They went really well, and so this year I am looking to take on more students.

Having spent a year teaching groups of students online from a set curriculum, I found most students were in need of a more personalized approach. Each student finds different areas difficult and requires different methods of motivation and encouragement. This worked well last year, while I also developed a stronger knowledge of the key areas students can get ahead. I am looking forward to meeting new students and developing plans for the year ahead with them.
