About Keith
I am Irish, I'm in my 30s and currently live in Portugal. Before Portugal I lived for several years in the Netherlands where I completed my studies.
I have a laundry list of hobbies and interests that keep me busy when I'm not working. I'm an avid chess player, I love to run and walk my dog to stay active, and lately I've been working on some crafting projects where I'm building custom watches and wallets. I've also been learning Portuguese since moving to Portugal.

My lessons take place online, I'm generally quite flexible with availability and length of lessons, some students prefer longer lessons (2hrs), and some shorter (1hr), I'm happy to adapt accordingly.
I would describe my teaching style as relaxed and easy going, I like to create a calm environment to allow for full concentration. I think this is critical when working on Math problems and it's a method I have had a lot of success with over the years.
I have a degree in Mathematics from the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. I have been a tutor for over 10 years. For a period after my degree, it was my full time occupation. Now, I do it alongside other work.
The majority of my experience has been teaching Statistics courses to University students at a Bachelor level. However, I have also tutored Masters level courses and helped students with the statistical analysis components of their thesis.
I am also available to tutor non-Statistics courses, I have extensive experience with that also and I'm always happy to take on any new course.
