About Eric
I am a 4th generation educator. My family has been teaching students of all ages and backgrounds for over 150 years. I personally have been teaching and tutoring mathematics and statistics for over 10 years. For me, the greatest joys of teaching are helping people develop the mathematical tools needed to do what they love! I want students to come away from our sessions feeling confident that they can do something new and apply it to whatever they wish. I am a very calm and laid-back person. Outside of teaching and tutoring, I enjoy playing video games, playing cards with friends and family, and spending time with my dog Winter!

Calm and Patient. I will go at whatever pace works well for you. Lessons are usually 1 hour with flexibility on when and where we meet. I am happy to provide materials if needed. The goal of every lesson is to build confidence and understanding of the maths and stats we are learning and how it is used in the real world. I love making examples out of everyday things and students' individual interests. Like Video Games, we can turn our questions into game-themed decisions. Like Music, did you know music and mathematics are deeply related? Whatever your interests we can use it as a tool to further our understanding.
