About Whitney
Pencils move across the page as we dissect a word problem together. My sessions focus on conceptual learning rather than rote memorisation, helping teens and hobbyists build a toolkit for any challenge. We will navigate linear algebra, trigonometry, and homework help with a calm, studio-savvy pace that respects how your brain processes information. I bring my degree-level knowledge and years of teaching to every interaction to ensure complex ideas become manageable steps.
You might find that competition maths prep becomes a rewarding puzzle instead of a chore. My method prioritises clarity over speed to ensure long-term retention of key principles.
I am here to help you bridge the gap between confusion and mastery. It is always a pleasure to watch a student overcome a long-standing roadblock. Please reach out if you have specific topics you wish to tackle today.

Numbers are often taught as rigid rules, yet they function best as a language for mapping the physical world. I have taught 94 students how to view trigonometry and calculus as extensions of spatial logic rather than static formulae.
My 9 years in London’s computational design field, combined with an MArch from Bartlett and a BA from Cambridge, inform how I approach SAT or ACT maths prep. Vedic maths techniques and linear algebra become intuitive when linked to real world design problems.
My background in Python industry work helps me explain abstract concepts to learners who might otherwise struggle with standard textbooks. Working with neurodivergent students requires a warm, disciplined touch that values individual enquiry. I enjoy seeing that spark when a student finally shifts their perspective to see the geometry behind the algebra.
