About Danby
I am an undergraduate maths student, with an additional interest in physics and philosophy. I am very passionate about my subject, and think it can be a fun and genuinely fulfilling area. I have a younger sibling, and have taken interest in her academic life, and I really do want the next generation of students to do well and actually enjoy going into university or work. Overall, I'm looking for a little extra cash on the side, and think tutoring is a good way to utilise my current skills and expertise for something I wish to improve.

I will go over course content, prioritising actual understanding of the concept over ability to get marks, as I believe one naturally follows from the other. Afterwards, or nearer to the exam date, I will focus on familiarity with the marking scheme and what typical questions expect. Currently studying BSc Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh. Received 6 As at Higher (including maths and physics) and 2 As at Advanced Higher (including maths and physics). I have experience working with young people of all ages in various settings, including secondary age students.
