About Nestor
I discovered that with the right support, education can be incredibly enjoyable and fulfilling. Having taught students who jumped 5 GCSE grades from a grade 3 to a grade 8, this realisation fuelled my passion for teaching. My experiences inspired me to create a nurturing educational environment where students feel truly understood and understand maths. I believe that personalised support not only boosts self-esteem but also significantly improves academic outcomes. This passion for education aligns with my broader aspiration to reform the educational field, ensuring that all students receive the quality support they deserve. In addition to my teaching aspirations, I am also deeply involved in activities that challenge and inspire me, such as golf, skiing, rugby, and running. These pursuits reflect my commitment to perseverance and personal growth, values I bring into my teaching approach.

As an A-Level Mathematics student at one of the highest performing schools in the country with mentoring experience for Year 8 and 9 students, I offer tailored strategies to support your childs progress. As Head of Social Sciences and a team member on the mathematics team at GCSEMasteryHub and the Head of Mathematics ar ReviseWire.xyz, I bring proven expertise to my teaching.
How My Lessons Work: In our first two - completely free - 60 minute session, I’ll get to know your child, exploring their interests and academic challenges. Based on this, they will take a custom test I've designed to assess their strengths and problem-solving approach. I then create a personalised curriculum tailored to the number of sessions you're interested in. Together, we’ll work through this curriculum using my dashboard and tailored lesson. Along the lesson, the student will also have a direct contact number through you (the parent) so I can provide support on homework and more.

Nestor has been tutoring my son from the beginning of year 10 (he had received a 3 at the beginning of year 10) to his year 11 October mocks where he has just found out he got a grade 8 in maths. Nestor is an incredible tutor who takes the time to ensure tom understands what he is doing, moreover spends time (unpaid) working with tom through the questions he got wrong. Nestor has been the best investment to compliment my sons education.
Incredibly helpful and really good at explaining things. Got me from a 3 in my mocks to 8 in my GCSE paper, would highly recommend.
i think nestor is a good tutor as he always took the time to make sure i understood the material i was struggling with and he would have a technique of building up the difficulties of questions making me more confident when i started to struggle
