About Ruby
Hello! I'm Aniruddh Singh, a passionate and dedicated tutor specializing in mathematics and applied quantitative concepts. With my PhD and Master’s degree in Physics, I bring a deep, rigorous understanding of how abstract mathematical principles drive the fundamental laws of the universe.
My approach to teaching is rooted in bridging the gap between theoretical math and its real-world applications. Physics is essentially the language of nature written in mathematics, and I leverage this connection to make abstract topics, from calculus and linear algebra to differential equations, feel tangible and intuitive. I believe in an interactive, problem-solving-driven methodology tailored to each student’s unique learning style, helping them grasp not just the *how*, but the *why* behind every formula.
Mentorship is central to my academic philosophy. Through my research work and experience in university academia, I have honed the ability to demystify complex, intimidating topics into clear, digestible concepts. This background has given me the patience and structure needed to mentor students across all levels, whether it's a high school student tackling AP Calculus, an undergraduate mastering multivariable mathematics, or someone looking to sharpen their analytical skills for quantitative fields.

My approach to tutoring is to consider every student as an individual and to make learning fun. I have a passion for the subjects that I teach and I try to enthuse my students too. A happy student is a more productive student and I endeavour to make my tutoring sessions a highlight of their week, rather than a chore. Whether you are someone who is struggling with the subject, or someone who wants to improve your grade or get an A star in the exam for your University place, I offer a bespoke tutoring experience.
In addition to teaching the subject content, I cover exam preparation, including working through past papers and exam techniques. I provide revision plans tailored to the individual. I also offer reading lists for students preparing for University interviews. Nearer exam time, I can offer intensive revision sessions where I tutor in groups or individually. I have excellent academic credentials, tutoring experience and a successful career working in IT and the City. I believe I can help any student improve their exam grade and reach their full potential. Most of all, I want to see them succeed.
