About Daniel
I am an ex VIT registered High School teacher. I have a Bachelor of Science from Monash University with majors in Mathematics and Physics. I studied the Master of Teaching at the University of Melbourne.
I Have been away from teaching for a few years in search of a better work life balance. I still have a passion for teaching and mathematics and am keen to educate young minds about the beauties of mathematics.

My mythod was informed by my Masters degree. First and foremost is respect for the student and a humanist approach.
When teaching maths it is important to identify any conceptual misunderstandings a student may have in one topic of maths (say, fractions). I identify any of these misunderstandings by observation while helping with tasks or assignments. With maths, not knowing the basics inside and out can make the complex idea inaccessible.
I find that targeted teaching and practise are effective methods to get ahead with maths.
