About NICHOLAS
I am an experienced educator with a Master’s degree in Space Science and Technology and an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering. My academic background involved extensive use of higher-level mathematics through science and engineering, which provides a strong foundation for tutoring maths.
Alongside my academic training, I have over two years of classroom teaching experience in Korea and China, working with students from a range of educational backgrounds. This combination of teaching experience and applied mathematical training allows me to support students clearly and confidently at high-school and early university level.

My maths lessons are clear, structured, and adapted to each student’s level and goals. I support high-school students and early university learners with core mathematical topics such as algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, focusing on understanding concepts rather than memorizing procedures.
My academic background in engineering and space science involved extensive use of higher-level mathematics, which helps me explain ideas logically and relate maths to real applications. I am a calm and patient teacher, and I like to cut through unnecessary jargon to make concepts easier to understand.
Lessons are delivered in a supportive environment with step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and guided practice to help students build confidence and improve problem-solving skills.
I currently offer online lessons only and work with students from Southeast Asia, East Asia, Australia, and worldwide.
