About Jon
I was born in SW England and spent the first 35 years of my life there. Since then I’ve lived in Melbourne. I love the variety of nationalities that come here and the cultural interest we all bring.
I’ve been a professional engineer and program manager for many years, but I enjoy helping people get started and in coaching with empathy.
This has led me to help people learn to improve their English, and often just being available to chat to them and help them understand what they’ve tried to learn in the past and give them confidence is such a rewarding thing to do.

Sometimes it’s the basics of pronunciation, sentence structure and vocabulary that is the most needed, to gain enough confidence to get started. I can help you in a relaxed and gentle way so you don’t get overwhelmed.
