About Nainu
About Me
I bring over 25 years of real corporate experience into the classroom — helping students understand Business Studies not as abstract theory to memorize, but as something I've actually lived and practiced at a senior level.
I've held senior roles in corporate affairs at Philip Morris International, a Fortune 500 multinational, where I led a three-country mandate, and at Adfactors PR, one of India's leading communications agencies. I've also worked in international policy advisory through Dua Associates and Kissinger McLarty, and gained hands-on international operations experience with Quality Group in Tanzania. When I teach a concept like marketing strategy, organizational structure, or business finance, I can connect it to real decisions I've been part of — which helps students see why the theory matters, not just what it says.
I hold an MBA from IMI New Delhi and a BA (Hons) in Economics from Shri Ram College of Commerce, and I'm currently developing structured teaching materials for IB Business Management, including revision resources and exam-style question sets — so I stay closely engaged with how these subjects are actually assessed.
Since 2022, I've also worked as a specialist tutor for K-12 students with learning differences, and I hold a PG Diploma in Learning Disabilities and ADHD. If your child struggles with traditional classroom approaches — whether it's exam pressure, essay structuring, or simply staying engaged — I take the time to understand how they learn best and adjust accordingly.
My goal with every student is the same: build genuine understanding of Business Studies, strong exam technique, and real confidence — so they walk into their exam prepared, not just rehearsed.

Here's the same four-part breakdown, tailored for Business Studies (IGCSE):
---
**Teaching techniques and methods**
I combine real-world business examples with exam-focused technique — connecting syllabus concepts (marketing, finance, operations, human resources) to actual case studies and current business events, so theory doesn't stay abstract. I place strong emphasis on structured answer-writing (application, analysis, evaluation) since that's where most IGCSE students lose marks, and I adapt my approach for students with different learning styles, drawing on my LD/ADHD training.
**Usual class structure**
Each session starts with a quick recap of the previous topic, moves into teaching or reinforcing a syllabus concept using real business scenarios, then transitions into exam-style practice — past paper questions or case study analysis — with detailed feedback on structure and technique. Sessions close with a short, focused task to consolidate before the next class.
**Special features as a teacher**
I bring 25+ years of real corporate experience — including senior roles in corporate affairs at a Fortune 500 multinational (Philip Morris International) and a leading PR agency (Adfactors PR) — into how I teach Business Studies, so students learn concepts as they actually play out in real organizations, not just as textbook definitions. I also hold a PG Diploma in Learning Disabilities and ADHD, allowing me to adapt my teaching for students who don't learn well through conventional methods, and I've worked with K-12 students on individualized approaches since 2022.
**Who the classes are for**
IGCSE-level students (typically ages 14–16) preparing for Business Studies exams, including those needing extra support with exam technique, essay structuring, or a learning-difference-adapted approach.
