About Nour
I am a Chemical Engineering student at McGill University with a strong passion for science, problem-solving, and helping others learn in a supportive environment. Having gone through challenging math and science courses myself, I understand how stressful these subjects can sometimes feel, which is why I focus on being patient, encouraging, and adaptable with every student.
I enjoy explaining difficult concepts in a clear and approachable way and helping students build confidence step by step rather than relying only on memorization. I am organized, reliable, and committed to creating lessons that are both productive and comfortable for students of different levels and learning styles. My goal is to help students not only improve academically, but also feel more confident in their own abilities.

As a Chemical Engineering student at McGill University, I understand how overwhelming subjects like math, chemistry, physics, and biology can sometimes feel, especially when concepts begin to build on one another quickly. My goal as a tutor is not only to help students solve problems, but also to help them truly understand the logic behind the material so they can become more confident and independent learners over time.
I adapt my teaching style depending on the student’s level, strengths, and learning pace. During lessons, I like to break down difficult concepts step by step, use visual explanations and real-life examples, and guide students through practice problems together rather than simply giving answers. I also help students develop study strategies, organization skills, and problem-solving methods that are especially useful for exams and assignments.
My lessons are mainly for middle school and high school students, including students preparing for science and math-heavy programs. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes while learning.
