We begin with a brief 10-minute warm-up where I review the student's recent homework or test topics to identify any specific areas where they feel stuck.
Next, I spend about 15 minutes breaking down core concepts into simple, logical steps.
During the main 20-minute practice segment, we work through problems using a guided approach: I first demonstrate a step-by-step example, then we solve a few together, and finally, the student attempts a problem independently to build problem-solving confidence.
We spend the last 15 minutes summarizing key formulas and key takeaways into a handy study guide, followed by a quick progress update for parents
