About Maryam
I am a very energetic and fun-loving person, and I can be patient yet serious when teaching. Although I don't enjoy studying, I recognize its importance and have developed strategies to overcome this challenge. I am committed to helping you as much as I can.
With extensive experience teaching students of various ages, including those preparing for GCSEs, A-levels, and Year 9, I have honed my communication skills and can connect with and support students effectively. My teaching methods are tailored to each student's unique needs, ensuring they grasp concepts thoroughly.
I provide detailed summaries after each lesson, outlining what we covered and our next learning objectives. I track student progress and maintain open communication with parents to keep them fully informed about their child's development. I prefer face-to-face teaching because, based on my experience, it significantly enhances the quality of learning compared to online methods.

As a student, I understand the difficulty of balancing lessons, studying, and social time. I created my own learning method and now help others find theirs, aiming to prepare for exams and reduce stress. I also assist with setting and achieving goals for university or future stages.
Each student is unique, so my approach varies. For math, I explain concepts until they're understood and questions are answered correctly, then move on. For biology and chemistry, I focus on connecting topics and understanding concepts, followed by quizzes to identify weak spots.
I believe a two-hour session without a break is ideal, with breaks included for longer sessions, though this may vary based on individual needs.

Perfect! Maryam is a great teacher, she adapts to my learning preferences and gives me a chance to explore what works best for me! She's happy to explain topics as many times as I need and her patience is a key strength. By also giving the time to do practice questions she consolidates my learning to help achieve top grades!
Perfect! Very organised, punctual. My daughter is very happy with her teaching style and her delivery. I am definitely going to keep her until my daughter's A-Level exams are over in summer 2027.
Perfect! My daughter had difficulties, but now she takes the tasks with ease and almost without difficulty, I believe it will be the same for GCSE in the future
Thank you so much.Perfect! Maryam is an amazing tutor! Her lessons are always well-structured, interactive, and tailored to how I learn best. Because of her help and support I feel much more confident in both biology and chemistry and I've even grown to enjoy these subjects even more. I highly recommend Maryam to anyone preparing for exams.
