About Chrendeep
My name is Chrendeep Thevacumar and I am currently studying medicine at Exeter University. I provide maths lessons for GCSE students of all different levels. Higher and lower tier. I have more than two years' experience tutoring GCSE students and it doesn't matter if you need me to go into in-depth revision for each topic or you just want to brush up on your exam technique, I will make sure that you will achieve your potential and reach your target grade for your GCSE.

My main teaching method is problem-based learning, along with step-by-step annotated methodology. Maths in particular requires a lot of practice in order to reach proficiency in a topic. Over the years I've found out that most students struggle to remember the working or they cannot work out what the question is asking. Therefore I make sure that whilst I am explaining an example or introducing a new method I start it off with a question for that solution. This way it starts off by linking the question with the answer and can easily recall the method when he/she sees a similar question. I also make sure to show step-by-step working out for each question and accompany it with annotated notes so that the student can understand what each step does. I also include a lot of past paper questions in each of my lessons and I time the students so that the students can get acclimated to the exam-like atmosphere.

Chrendeep's lessons are very clear and concise, and he helped me understand the topics quite quickly. He is friendly and is easy to talk to and can understand your problems quickly and come up with solutions to them. He has access to a lot of study resources and exam questions, which helped me understand the topic more as I was able to compare information from different sources. He is very hardworking and sets your homework depending on your schedule, which, means you can prioritize your schoolwork first. He is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him.
