About Ayan
I'm Ayan, a medical student in the UMKC 6-Year BA/MD Program with a 35 ACT superscore (36 Math, 34 Science, 34 English). I specialize in ACT prep and high school math and science, working with students who are serious about breaking into the 30+ range.
Long before tutoring online, I was always the person friends and family came to for help with school. I spent years helping classmates, cousins, and younger students with algebra, math, science, and test prep — breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense. I'm friendly, outgoing, and patient, and I focus on making sessions comfortable so students feel confident asking questions.
Besides that, I love being outgoing and having conversations with everyone. I like exploring the unexplored, and I love experiencing life to the fullest!

My lessons are structured and goal-driven. We start by diagnosing your weak areas through practice material, then build a targeted plan around timing strategies, concept review, and test-taking technique. Every session has a clear focus. I don't like wasted time!
I've tutored students across all starting points, from 20s to high 20s, and I teach the way I wish someone had taught me: with clear explanations, honest feedback, and real strategies that actually move the needle on test day. I've tutored for almost 2 years now, and I'm proud to say that I've been consistently getting my students to achieve that score they'd want to show to everyone.
