About Steven
Welcome! My name is Steven. I spent around 10 years in Canada, from the age of 10 to 19, before returning to South Korea. Since then, I have taught English at several academies in Korea and graduated from Handong Global University, where I studied Life Science and Counseling Psychology.
I am currently studying medicine at the University of Pavia in Italy. Having lived and studied in Korea, Canada, and Italy, I understand firsthand both the challenges and the rewards of learning and communicating in another language.
I enjoy getting to know each student and creating a comfortable environment where you can speak freely, make mistakes, ask questions, and improve at your own pace. Whether your goal is casual conversation, academic English, or simply becoming more confident using the language, I'd be happy to help!
안녕하세요! 제 이름은 Steven입니다. 10살부터 19살까지 약 10년간 캐나다에서 생활한 후 한국으로 돌아왔습니다. 이후 한국의 여러 영어학원에서 학생들을 가르쳤으며, 한동대학교에서 생명과학과 상담심리학을 공부하고 졸업했습니다.
현재는 이탈리아 파비아대학교(University of Pavia)에서 의학을 공부하고 있습니다. 한국, 캐나다, 이탈리아에서 직접 생활하고 공부해온 만큼 새로운 언어로 배우고 소통하는 과정이 얼마나 어렵기도 하고 보람 있기도 한지 잘 이해하고 있습니다.
학생 한 분 한 분을 알아가며 편안하게 말하고, 실수하고, 질문하면서 자신의 속도에 맞춰 성장할 수 있는 수업 분위기를 만드는 것을 중요하게 생각합니다. 편안한 회화 연습부터 학업을 위한 영어, 영어에 대한 자신감 향상까지 각자의 목표에 맞춰 최선을 다해 도와드리겠습니다!
