About Basil

I have two years of tutoring experience and one year of in-class teaching experience, and my college degree was designed specifically for teaching languages. Though Spanish is technically my second language, it is not clunky like "textbook" Spanish because I come from a Spanish-speaking culture and use it at home.

About the lesson

My degree was designed to help me know how to teach you best. I use research-based and fun methods to move you forward at the pace that is right for you. Whether you are studying for a class, for work, or for personal reasons, I will use the principles of linguistics to advance your skills in vocabulary, grammar, culture, and cognitive strategies at levels that meet your needs as a learner.
