About Julie
Hi, I’m Julie, a pre-med student and current undergraduate microbiology major with a research background in biology. I earned a score of 5 on the AP Biology exam and am actively involved as a researcher in a university cancer laboratory, where I work with biological concepts beyond the classroom.
In addition to my academic experience, I have taught biology to university-level students, helping them understand challenging material and improve their performance in coursework and exams. I approach tutoring with professionalism, preparation, and a clear structure to ensure each lesson is focused and effective.
I am committed to creating a supportive and structured learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and steadily building confidence in biology, whether they are preparing for AP Biology exams or university-level courses.

I use a concept-first, exam-focused approach. Each topic is broken down into clear, logical steps using simple language, visuals, worksheets, and real biological examples. For AP Biology students, I also emphasize College Board-style questions to prepare you for the AP exam.
My lessons are ideal for:
- AP Biology students preparing for exams
- High school students taking introductory or honors biology
- Students who feel overwhelmed by biology or struggle with test questions
- Students who want clearer explanations and stronger exam performance
