Hi, my name is Mukund and I’m offering online or in person (within hills area) math and economics tutoring for high school students both in group or one-on-one settings. I’m currently studying a Bachelor of Computer Science and Commerce (finance) at UNSW and since graduating in 2021 I’ve had more than 3+ years of tutoring experience for HSC and university courses having tutored over 100+ students. Having achieved an HSC ex1 mathematics mark of 97 and an internal HSC economics mark of 100, I have an extremely strong passion and understanding for these subjects and how to excel in them within high school.

Why did I decide to become a tutor?

I was one day in your shoes having trial and tested various different tutoring centers, and I’ve come to experience first-hand the personal impact quality tutors can have on a student through mentorship within and beyond high school. As such, having personally benefited from this guidance I wish to give back by bridging the gap between tutoring and personalized mentorship, by sharing my experiences and guiding new and upcoming HSC students. Moreover, I have a strong passion for the subjects I teach having studied them at university and pursuing them further through relevant industry experience.

I strive to ensure that my students develop a thorough, core understanding of the theory and syllabus, going beyond simple memorisation. Additionally, I provide you with study and exam techniques—strategies essential for excelling in exams that go beyond just mastering the theory content.
