About Sara

Hi! It's nice to meet you! I am a graduate of both Youngstown State University (BM in Music Education) and The Ohio State University (MA in Music Education). I have been teaching instrumental music for 13 years, and I started an AP Music Theory Course at my current school. I see students with a wide range of experience in my theory classes, and I'd love to help you understand more about music, regardless of your current ability level. I absolutely love music theory. It's like knowing music's secret code. Let's crack it together!

About the lesson

Hello! I'm here to help you understand music theory! I will utilize visual, aural, and kinesthetic strategies to connect you with the most complicated aspects of music.

Feeling behind in your high school or AP music theory class? Need a refresher before heading off to college? No problem! We will work together to build a strong understanding of concepts and a tool chest of strategies to succeed.

MA in Music Education, AP Music Theory Teacher, committed to finding unique ways to help all students understand and find joy in music
