Loida was my first guitar instructor on the Acoustic and Electric. Although I mostly focus on Classical Guitar now, her instruction opened up an amazing world for me. She is a gifted musician and an amazing professor. She is also a walking history expert on all things classic rock and iconic guitarists. She's kind, patient, and very funny. I was privileged to be her student at the beginning of her professional career and saw it take off, and if you're interested in learning guitar, she's the musician to go to.

From the moment we began our lessons with Loida in 2022, she has elevated our family’s musical understanding in ways we could never have imagined—combining deep artistry with genuine passion and heartfelt connection.

Loida’s philosophy is that music is all about emotions, a vehicle that allows her to share what she feels while helping others connect with themselves. That ethos shines through every lesson. She invites us not only to learn techniques but also to feel, intuit, and express, making music come alive for my boys and me.

Her debut album, The Journey, is a musical narration of her life since childhood, and it deeply resonates with the transformative path she’s guiding us along. It is clear that teaching music isn’t just a job for her—it’s a way to transmit her personal story and spark meaning in ours.

Loida doesn’t just teach notes—she teaches feeling. She encourages us to play with intention, nuance, and emotion, unlocking a depth of musicality we didn’t know we had. Influenced by her diverse background, her lessons weave in theory, harmony, and improvisation, drawing us into a broader appreciation of music as a living, breathing art. From beginner basics to complex phrasing, she meets each of us exactly where we are and crafts our growth thoughtfully. We have not only seen our skills flourish but also our confidence and curiosity soar.

In summary, Loida doesn’t just teach guitar—she guides students into the heart of music. Since 2022, her lessons have been a deep, emotional, and inspiring experience for us. Her dedication, artistry, and warmth have transformed how we understand, feel, and play music. We couldn’t ask for a more epic instructor, and we are so grateful for every note she has helped us discover.
