About Mara
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and several years of professional experience working with children and teenagers. I really enjoy working with people, learning about different cultures, and helping others feel comfortable and confident.
Because I have lived in both Germany and the United States, I understand what it is like to communicate across different languages and cultures. I know that learning a new language can feel intimidating at first — especially when you’re afraid of making mistakes. That’s why I want my lessons to be a relaxed and encouraging place where you can practice German without pressure.

My background is in Social Work and working with children and teenagers, which has given me extensive experience communicating with different ages, personalities, and learning styles.
While my professional background is not traditional classroom teaching, I have developed strong skills in patience, communication, explaining information clearly, adapting to individual needs, and creating a supportive learning environment.
