My Spanish lessons can be oriented towards the practical needs of daily life (focusing on communication), but also to earning official certifications.
An important aspect of my method is the promotion of the students' interest for what they are going to learn. One way to do this is focusing on their specific tastes and goals to show them how these relate with our work together. Importantly, I offer justifications for everything we do and try to explain the practical reasons behind linguistic rules and their inclusion in the syllabus.
Furthermore, I always try to help students understand and internalise the contents so that they don't need to rely exclusively on memory. As a result, they acquire the ability to solve new problems through reasoning.
The materials used in class are personalised, most of the times of my own creation.
I approach those who book my lessons with cordiality and empathy. There are no hiearchies in our sessions. Students help me learn as I help them.
