About James

Hello, I am a native English speaker and former classroom teacher offering ESL classes for students of all levels—whether you're just starting out or looking to perfect your English. With six years of classroom teaching experience and having taught myself a foreign language as an adult, I understand the learning process deeply, especially when it comes to acquiring new languages. I am excited to meet you and learn about your language learning goals!

About the lesson

I believe in creating a safe, nurturing space for all my students. My classes are a place to feel comfortable, make mistakes, and grow. I encourage my students to adopt a growth mindset and embrace mistakes as a natural and powerful part of the learning process. As we practice speaking in English, each mistake is a step closer to fluency.

If you already have a solid grasp of English, I will help you understand its nuances, make sense of its eccentricities, and reduce your accent. If you're just starting out, we'll go from polite introductions to total fluency. Whatever your language learning goals, I have solutions and resources for you, and I will support you every step of the way as you learn to speak English like a native. Improving your English will unlock new opportunities, and I’m excited to help you on this journey.
